Oh yes! The conductivity between the cables on the 12 volt diode stud would come and go with temperature humidity wetness etc. The corrosion from the heat causes the connection to become a “semiconductor” of sorts.

EDIT: I have been corrected on this, later model HMMWVs DID have this qd from the factory. Sorry for the misinformation.

Pay attention to the overall height on these, if your flatbed is dock height it will be to tall. Avoid crane loading these at all costs, unless you have appropriate spreader bars something will get smashed. Use a trailer with ramps and winch on.
