I had a cracked brass elbow under the tank selector switch. That would let air into the system. Check there too. There are rubber hoses there that could be cracked. Did you try feeding fuel from the other tank?

As far as i know there is no return fuel filter! If it is under the frame up front on the passenger side it is the primary fuel filter. If it clogs (mine just did last weekend) the engine will not run! Probably missing a spring. I upgraded my filter housing so i don't remember how it was...

I bought a car hauler trailer a few months ago and was ripped off. It was advertized as a 7000lb capacity trailer but I later noticed the plate said 5000 GVW. It has 2 3500# axles but only one has electric brakes. I was told in LA they derate the trailer if it does not have the electric brakes...

You are lucky you didn't get a ticket for overweight on the trailer. I guess they could have forbid you from moving the trailer while it was over the carrying weight capacity. :oops::oops:

That cold patch tar was there when I bought the truck! Was the handy work of the Mississippi National Guard. Dry ice blasting would get rid of it easily but no one around here offers it. I will try dry ice on the tar and a vibrating scraper to remove it. I am open for other suggestions. :idea:

That liquid vinyl is junk! Used it before and found it peals off easily. I will try to remember and put a coat of paint on it or a soft vinyl sleeve. Still need to repair the roof on the 109 box. Have to scrape the tar off the seams and apply seam sealer. Then I need to do some spot rust...

Yes they are 11.00-20 Michelin tires. I got them before all the 11.00 G177 Goodyear flooded the market. :beer:

If you add a plug on the side of the box for a electrical connection, then you can charge it up without removing the battery.2cents
