no put the switch on the main air line to the transmission NOT in the lines to the transfer case, and yes that cuts all the air so you get a disconnected front shaft:-D
because some felt the need to bash I am going to say this the price of anything is between the buyer and the seller and no one else. That said I have had only great dealings with Ted's

guess I should have put it "new " or replacement cabs, yes I know that not all M939 cabs are stainless steel but I was told that the "NEW" cabs are.:roll:
mine and a few others I know of have busted from abuse of breaking loose under pressure, ripped the end off my cable with 40,000 lbs of track-hoe hanging on it:roll: the backlash messed up the gears just enough that next pull bang:cry: the back end of my truck broke into a bunch of heavy scrap...
I have seen them in use in military in the normal spot for a radio in an 80s chevy truck the holes are already there,behind the blockoff plate but you will need an old shaft type radio.
yeah right if you spin the back tires down here you better have a trac-hoe to get you out I will jack-up the rears and spin them in both ways.:twisted:

Put valve in main air line to transmission and turn off air and u turn off front drive. It works if you want to try it jack up front tire on one side and plug the main air line to trans NOT the trasfer case and then with brake set try and turn the tire that is off the ground it will turn in both...
