No that happens when the transfer case cooling loop cracks and the transmission fills the transfer completely full until is spews from the vent, called “vampire syndrome” or something like that. Bypass the cooling loop, drain the transfer, refill the transmission and go on with life.
The filter kit makes sense for fleets that have extended oil change intervals. We should be doing 3000 mile/annual oil changes which should mean spotless oil needed for the heui pump.
Got some originality issues: wrong bumper, tires, fuel tank, wheel on spare bracket. Missing top bows and brackets, the entire 24 volt system, pintle hitch. Paint is wrong color. Price too high.
Maybe because you no longer need an exhaust pipe extension for fording. All the LDS-427 multifuel turbosupercharged deuces had rear exhaust, same as yours. Puts the “coal” right in the automobile driver’s window.
Air drop door windows same as regular FMTV. Download the parts and operator manuals from the TM section of this website under “current conflict vehicles “. The TM will give you the part numbers you need to be able to start your parts search.
My guess is someone whacked the hand lever and broke the gear or pinion. The solenoid provides pilot pressure to move the spool. The function would likely work electrically.
They are called blackout marker lamps. There is another one in the grille called the blackout driving lamp. See ebay for these, the ones you want have black rubber connectors.
Funny story on this. My shop is right near a property with bee hive boxes. On Sunday when I was going to work on the truck, I noticed beekeepers removing the boxes. No big deal I thought until I started draining the radiator and was ATTACKED by pissed off BEES and bitten 5 times ouch...
I’m a little confused, if the truck is working, why do you need a starter? FMTVs have lots of gremlins but the starter is not one of them.
On the window, that can be problematic. Check ebay and call around to all the dealers such as Eastern.
