Cool! I guess the fluid doesn’t mind visiting the back of the truck all day. On the factory setup, the solenoid gets moved up by the Cadillac valve.
Cable needs to be rewound so it pays off the bottom of the spool.
Yes. Remove the many many screws holding the dashboard down and lift it as best you can, then you will see how to release the controller and allow it to be pulled out. Be sure to disconnect batteries first and be gentle.
I advised the OP that the truck with the jumpy voltmeter ONLY with the jump pack removed is a telltale sign of shot batteries that are not supplying reference voltage to the alternator. Caution: this jumpy voltage will fry things like the transmission controller!!
See post by VTM880 right before your post in 880 forum for a nice interior pic. Yup engine is blue, air cleaner black, inner fenders and firewall black. Frame was unpainted. All sheetmetal olive drab.
I believe you have a 2006 engine. Mine starts with 02 and the truck is a 2002.
Edit: I remembered wrong. Mine has a trailing J and THAT means 2002.
You have a 2011 looks like.
I wish I knew more about this, all I know is that the second letter indicates vehicle family and the registration numbering system that starts with N was launched in 1972 and is still in use.
See if the engine turns over, if so, getting it running might allow you to grant her wish, and will make the sale to the next person more appealing. Brakes however will need to be 100% replaced and that’s not a quick job.
