I too am frustrated with the problems on the site lately but I would not go as far as to insult the people working on it. That kind of abuse does not help get things done.

I was looking over my newly acquired M109A2 and noticed some attachments that I was not sure what they were used for. I have them highlighted in the included photo. I also pointed out all the tie down points. What were these used for?
Those choke cable operated valves are used on older vehicles to shut of the hot coolant gong to the heater core. You should be able to find some on ebay. Here is a link to one on Ebay:
