If you can locate connector P6 the wire for the MPU run from there to the MPU. The wire is a 2 conductor shielded wire so it will appear as a single "wire" from P6. Unfortunately there are 5 wire sets like that running from P6 to various places.

It should be screwed into the bell housing where the flywheel would be inside. I can only go by the TM. Never wrenched on an 806. Maybe someone can chime in with a pic or location description

No ohms as in almost 0? If so the MPU may be mechanically damaged. Need to remove and inspect the tip of it. They gen damaged if they come in contact with the flywheel.

The VR testing sections "should" be the same. Major different between the A & B is which engine it has.

NSN seems to indicate the length of the hex is 1.25", not the 1.5" you measured. Assuming it's 1.25" I found these. Standoffs Be sure to check specs vs the busted ones you have to verify they'll work.

What length is the hex, the threaded portion and what size and pitch are the threads? How many types? Hex with internal threads on both ends, hex with threaded stud, other?

Actually the MWO for the 804A calls for a KTK-3 fuse. FNQ-R-3 is only for the 802A & 803A

Can you measure the hole diameter for the missing LED lens with some calipers? I can look around at parts suppliers and try to locate suitable replacements.
