Both the A1 and A2 trucks are in the same manuals. When there is a difference, it will say so, or have separate section to cover each truck.

If you look at the parts TM, you can google the NSN or part number listed, and find out the correct size. IIRC, there are more than 2 sizes used on a cucv.

If you read the manufacturers information, they are for temporary use or slow speed use. As a temporary fix, sure, try it. At $4-5/ foot, I'll just stick with stock belts.
