It certainly would not have taken 2 hours to read the TM and learn that you need to bleed the air out with the primer pump after changing the filters.

If you look at the parts TM, you can google the NSN or part number listed, and find out the correct size.
IIRC, there are more than 2 sizes used on a cucv.
If you read the manufacturers information, they are for temporary use or slow speed use.
As a temporary fix, sure, try it.
At $4-5/ foot, I'll just stick with stock belts.
