Welcome from a former Southern Californian now in Nevada. I used to live in the Huntington Beach area, and owned a weekender cabin out on Ghost Road in the Johnson Valley (Landers area).
Opened the driver side front window and found some corrosion going on under the window seal. Removed the rust, filled the low spot with JB Weld, sanded, primed and painted.
I saw this truck on GP and I'm happy one of our members picked her up, and not some construction company, or scrap hauler. Looks like a good clean Viet Nam era truck. I noticed the unique mirror mounts, never seen any quite like that before. Are the tanks for fuel, water, weed killer???
Rusty, what method did you use to apply the Monster liner & what type of primer was used?? The bed is the last major job remaining on my truck. I just picked up a set of fiberglass troop seats, and am still looking for a fiberglass headache board, and I need to knock out some dents in the sides...
