    M37 windshield removal question

. Wow!! And not broken. Pretty amazing!

    stencils

. What do you "feed" that machine with? Can it take a CAD file of some sort - or does it use a specific set of fonts? What do you do for shapes? Can you import a file for shapes (could be letters or an image) and then scale it? If there is an import function, what kind of files will it open...

    M37 windshield removal question

. Wow. That looks like a fragile piece of metal - that will be darn near unobtainable it if breaks. Is that an allen screw on the passenger side bolt? I am just guessing, but on the inside can you reach the other side of that bolt? Hopefully? Looks like a two man job for sure...

What did you do to your trailer today.

. Lookin Good @cucvrus ! Pretty nice pile of firewood too.

FLU419 SEE HMMH HME Owners group

. Welcome to the Outfit! Glad to hear that you have your very own piece of green goodness - and that you got a little snow to keep it gainfully employed! :) Don't forget that you can hunt down the schematics here and some of the TM's as well. Nice looking truck too!

    New to me M923A2.

. Might be worth your time to make sure what has been done for sure. Crawl around. Look for grease, check the differentials. Cheaper To Keeper than to assume it was all done. Remember the old story: Don't believe anything anybody told you and only half of what you see. Of course if that...

FLU419 SEE HMMH HME Owners group

. Couple of fallons of gas in the diesel tank is good to help clean the injectors every now and again. Couple of older than me guys always claimed it needed to be done regular. Me personally -I don't think I would want to have Gas AND Ether in a diesel startup though...

    JUMPSTART M998 (24v) WITH 12v BATTERY PACK

. If you mean connect to the positive and negative posts on the low / weak battery with your jump start box - yes. That should work and has worked in the past on a lot of 24v machines. It may not give you much "juice" but it is worth a shot. Otherwise, put a charger on each individual battery...

    New to me M923A2.

. Welcome to the Outfit! It does look like a nice truck too. Like @Steelreaper80 suggested, packing bearings is a heck of a good idea. You are gonna huff and puff and grunt when you pull those tires off, then hubs to get to the bearings - but the time spent will save you money down the road...

What year model did the m35 go to duel reservoir brakes sysytem?

. You are gonna love it! The source for this is a military publication called PS Magazine. All kinds of information available there... Even a character called Joe Dope was the guy demonstrating safety - and he regularly got hauled away - in an ambulance for doing "not smart" stuff. Check out...

    Harbor Freight Winch questions

. There is something to be said for a mechanical winch for sure. I have seen M37's hanging from a winch cable with no wheels on the ground... No real answer for WHY. But there aren't a lot of vehicles that can do that - and a battery powered winch can't.

    Aluminum Champion vs OEM Radiator

. Yep, the most difficult part is the import game. Back 80 years ago, there were people who really hacked off a lot of Americans. To the point that some of the folks here wouldn't drive a foreign vehicle. ------ Didn't post this in the DAILY JOKE section... Cause it isn't a joke! A...

    Yikes!

. I'm sure your pride and your truck both had hurt feelings - but thank goodness nobody was hurt. I imagine it was a pain to get it home too. :-(

Rebuilding after 15 years of storage

. Sad but true... These days everyone expects most things in a day or two. I can still remember the days of old when you ordered something out of California - shipping to North Carolina - 3000 miles away and it took a couple of weeks?

    KC Lights Stopped Working

. Now you are talkin! Found it AND fixed it... You and your truck will be happy! Congrats on hunting it down.

    LMTV Cab Suspension Airbags Alternative

. My originals are still functional - but I would love to know how the KA5066's work. Seems that the more things are used on these trucks and the older they get, the sooner they need a replacement. Figure by the time I get everything updated, the next guy can deal with it 20 years from now!

    stencils

. Maybe somebody could snap a few pictures of the stencils - more likely a painted truck and then measure the font height and line width. We make stencils and a lot of other things but without a set of measurements, it is nothing but a guessing game. If there is a CAD person that could create...
