It definitely would be a useful tool in a seriously cold environment.
Would think it would be a BIG PLUS to add valves on the block (inlet and outlet) to shut it down if a hose broke or the plastic heater cracked. Moving water seems like a heck of a plan to me too!

And then the Tree Huggers will be out in front of your house protesting the tail pipe emissions from your cows.
Maybe there haven't been enough folks who moved from CommieFornia to Alabama to start a protest (yet)...

Agreed. Proportioning Valve "saves your bacon" if the front OR rear brake lines (rubber or steel) are cut, broken, or yanked loose from the frame or axle. Brake performance is reduced - especially if it is the front brakes. After you make the needed repairs, pressing the little button under...

I have to agree. Yeah, nothing would be much higher on the COOL FACTOR scale than having your own MV where you are in some foreign country. But on the other hand - when you are for example the only tank - then YOU become THE TARGET. Everybody wants to shoot the thing that nobody else has...

According to Wikipedia the Stryker weighs in at about 17,000 pounds. The Deuce may very well tow a trailer (add another few thousand pounds) with that tracked unit on it. I even found a pretty good discussion about it here @ SS. It seems that the biggest problem might be...

Congratulations Ken!
Wow... What a wonderful woman you have there.
So sweet that she would do that for you. Man! That is just fantastic!
I can't wait to see some pictures.
Time to start a build thread...

Had to reply to this post in particular...
Everything is looking good to me!
