Wow Brutacus !
That is a LOT of CFMs of air. Yes sir. At that rate, it sure would be a definite plus to have another air tank. A one way check valve into the new tank with one air line out to the horn valve would be smart. HALDEX Part #KN23010 or Bendix Part #800393 would do the job...

Well... Straight to the blood and gore I see. You could always get yourself a black dress and stuff it with some hay. Then gather up a broom and she could be crashed into the back of the truck - between the bed and the cab. Maybe a casper sheet and a balloon...
As I was reading, I had...

So long as you pull air from of the tank that would power the factory air horn and windshield wipers - the truck is built to keep you from over extending yourself in the air tank that controls your brakes. I should know which one... If the air supply to your wipers (follow the feed) isn't...

A boy and his tractor... Yes indeed! That is the trick. A bucket and a boom lift, a little cooler weather and the job will get done. I think I have a similar problem. The older and slower with a belly twice the size it should be.
All I know is that I work until I get hot and miserable...

Looks like you have your work "cut" out for you for a while! That tree cutting is hard work.
Hopefully you have a tractor or something with "lift and move" capability.
That bobcat looking thing sure would be neat - if it happens to be yours...

Yeah, it seem difficult to imagine - but these police guys and gals - they use social media too. Seems to me that they are saving budget dollars driving a computer rather than a brand new Dodge Charger or a Durango! It is public information. No different than seeing you in your car going...

If you already have insurance on something, call those folks and ask. It is a crap shoot - but don't be discouraged if you get told no. A good example is that I called my regular State Farm agent. Their particular group doesn't insure them, but he gave me a reference to a different State...

I think @wheelspinner had two good takeoffs listed yesterday.
Might be the fastest and simplest way to go...
Hate to say it, but plastic in the engine bay is going to give up eventually.
Fixing it sooner than later would be smart. To protect that radiator!

Exactly! Gotta have a reason... I occasionally make deliveries in one of mine. Customers know about the trucks because they see them at the plant. Always tickles them for me to deliver a box of envelopes or something small "in that great big truck".
.
Just keep reminding them that you didn't remove any sort of emissions equipment.
That the truck is as it came from the factory needs to be the first thing you say. Nicely of course...

Logic says that material is plenty tough enough... It will take several pieces on each side to be thick enough to match the "factory" height. Strangely enough the drivers side is easy if you have a set of winch fairleads to contend with. I've heard about hockey pucks too but they are a...

Guy,
Eventually I will learn enough to be smart enough to run one of these things. :)
The explanations you give are darn good and I really appreciate it.
