Recently saw somewhere that had them offered as magnetics.
That way, you can have all the safety and attract as much attention as you need.
As a piece of magnetic material, if you need to sneak around in the woods they can easily be removed.

I'm with you ldmack3. Guess the decision has to be made - if texting is okay or not - then make the decision. The sad part is we all know somebody who can't walk and chew bubblegum at the same time. Are they smart enough? Maybe, maybe not. Try adding a car or truck and maybe add in a...

Owen, you are dead right! Music seems the least invasive - but even that isn't good with these old trucks IMO. Hearing what is going on in front and behind you - meaning motor and gearboxes - and being alert to emergency vehicles are important. These "ear buds" that people use are just...

I think I may have already told you once before on a different thread - but just in case - Welcome to the Outfit!
Definitely like that truck and the body on the back is super neat!

Good Plan and I agree.
Stupidity needs to come with a cost associated with it.
A med bag is a requirement. Everybody should have one and at least the basic lifesaving skills.

I really like that last picture of the young man in the red shirt... Observing the lower 40.
Can't really claim that I have lived in the country. I have lived on the "edge of town" in years gone by. Presently in an old neighborhood before every house was stacked with no grass between the...

It is amazing how at 18, there is only one speed: Wide Open all the time! Then in the late 20's I think we start to observe a little more around us and some start having families - and we start thinking about that "little you" sitting there depending on you. Into the later 30's you have...

Welcome to the Outfit!
The Hog is an amazing piece of hardware!
We thank you for your service and the time you spent as a hog driver. :)

The stuck clutch might be really simple. With the truck sitting for a time, they have been known to rust together. A little help with a sharp...

Like everybody else said - THANK GOODNESS nobody was hurt! And there is some good sheetmetal still there. I can't imagine what it felt like to see your truck rolling down that hill... Maybe tomorrow will be better and it can be recovered.
.
Glad nothing awful happened Owen... There are one or two hills up there where you are that could make for a really bad day! I am really curious to know what the wheel cylinders look like when you tear into that right front. Or if it was possibly the rubber line that feeds that cylinder maybe?

In order to have surge brakes - did you plan to move the tongue from the M101 to your M353? Something has to shove the body of the trailer forward to apply the brakes. It is possible I suppose but (without details) is the 353 heavier or lighter than the 101?
Don't think I am being a smart-a$#, but most dipsticks on GM vehicles actually say "check fluid level when hot". Idling in the driveway will warm it up enough and the fluid should feel warm to the touch.

3M for whatever reason seems to have managed to avoid stupidity in their product lines. Unrelated to building a habitat or sealing in windows - the pressure sensitive vinyl that 3M makes lasts twice as long as any other product on the market. AND their stuff is still great many years after...
