When someone is selling something, they price they paid to get it and then sell it is completely irrelevant.
Supply and demand
Shorter supply and increased demand is reflected in the selling price.
Simple as that
That should last as long as the truck does.
Yes, it's amazing how much better the battery's perform when they get a proper charge.
Bought my new alternator from him in December and they are better than ever.
Very happy
Restored 1950's era steel lawn chairs with the help of a wonderful trailer, the M101A2.
Chairs were bought just over a week ago at a nic nak shop.
Weather had been great, so instead of inside the shop, I took advantage of a great shade tree
Using the tailgate of my tan M101A2, I sanded down...
It's a great truck
Its not a "true" cucv, but so what.
I agree that it is a much rarer truck than a M1009
Plus, that paint looks great when new and maybe you can bring yours back.
There's a pic on this site somewhere where there were several deuces and CUCVs painted that color.
It was taken...
Yes
forgot about fast Idle
Mine kicks in even in summer.
When we first brought my M1008A1 back to life after years of sitting, after replacing/repairing lots of things, it would not start.
Cranked like a monster and had fuel, etc. New GPs, the whole bit.
Finally remembered to depress...
The M101A2/3's and M939's are still around, just coming out at a slow trickle. Plus the demil change on the 5 tons.
The flood of them is definitely over.
You won a nice trailer today.
Your gonna love it.
They aren't making anymore, so buy what you can.
New complete brake assembly's are available from Dexter.
I bought a set called free-back. Can back up a fully loaded trailer and it will not engage the brakes. Has parking brake function also.
Exact fit and no modification at all.
eBay has best price.
Haven't installed them yet. Hopefully...
I'm looking for a third one to do something very similar.
Also have a 06 GMC 2500HD and would be using that to pull it with.
Already have two matching truck wheels for it.
Will be normal paint and hitch, All led lights to current DOT standards, etc.
You and others have come up with some...
It all depends on the condition of the cover.
Its very easy to take it off and fold it up.
Plus your fuel mileage will thank you for it.
Its a barn door at highway speed. 65-70
