Rebuilt HH, now hard start and no idle

The "red scored tooth" only lines up with the arrow to tell you when the head will be able to be removed from the IP. Period(nothing else). With the crank pulley lined up, the scribe in the disk of the advance unit(4 bolt window in front of hyd. head) should line up. That tells you the IP is...

Hydraulic head seals replaced and now it doesn’t like to run.

Hey Tim, I never thought about it but, Clinto and myself have had a few trucks have running issues if the two screws that hold the fuel control rod are torqued too tight. Not sure why that is, but backing them off a tad worked great. Maybe that was the case here too.

    6.2 or 6.5

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Every time I clean my garage or barn, its like Christmas. So many things I've forgot I had. It also really sucks when you know you have something and then try to find it...

180 out of time? If the harmonic balancer is lined up, can you see the red scored tooth on the hyd head? The scored tooth shouldn't be lined up, just visible.

    Windshield pivot assembly bolt removal.

I usually unbolt them from the truck and put them in the vise. 50/50 atf acetone gets in the joint well and a little heat finishes it off.

    Windshield pivot assembly bolt removal.

Yes, are asking about the hinge bolts at the top of each window, or the whole frame? Sounds like the window hinges at the top, which should be Phillips head screws. They are no fun to get out if rusted in place.

    M35A3 Wheel problems

Did you have the beadlocks in? The only ones I've had issues with is the ones w/o the bead locks.

    Starter Connections

Oh wow. I'd try using a dvm to see if they have continuity to ground, then see if they have continuity back to the battery + terminal. That should get you in the right direction.

    Starter Connections

I know I haven't worked on any mogs but, can it really be that hard to figure out a +, a -, and a trigger? I would think it should be fairly simple, is there a bunch of wires not hooked up?

    Looking for pics

This link shows 395s(extremely close 5o 15.5s) with the hubs not flipped, rim dish-out. Looks about even with the bed, so I would bet rim-in hub flipped should be fine. I will still see if I can find a link though...

Pwrench, try using a little heat on the fitting, a propane torch should work fine.
