    Its only about 4000lbs total. I'd pull it. If your worried about the 3k weight limit some states might have, put the genset in the bed of the truck and tow the trailer by itself. I'd let some air out of the tires so it offers a smoother ride. Just my opinion.

    Dang that sucks! Doesnt look too bad though. Id replace the barrier strip and put new ends on the cables and try it out.

    Yeah, we joke a lot here on this board. I understand a new guy might not get it at first. Im thinking about going from a ds4 to a db2 IP, so I will have to keep this controller in mind if I decide to pull the trigger.

    5 miles isn't very long to charge the batts back up. I wonder what the current draw of starting it is vs a 5 mile charge.

    No They sit years andstart up when called for. Its better if they dont, but they can.

    I put fm100 filters on my mep003, 30 micron and a 5. They are a tab type, much easier to use imho.
