A lot depends on which site you buy from. Some sites are unmanned and it is hard to schedule an inspection.
GL keeps the minimum number of employees at most sites...even a manned site can have issues scheduling inspections. The GL guys have to load, unload, sort, classify and take pics of items...

The CAT could could be ran on Veggie but it would require a heating and switching system to operate correctly. Mixing veggie with diesel in the tank is asking for trouble on a engine like that.
It looks way over priced to me.
Why not pull a camper with a reg deuce and still have the cargo...
You can run it mixed if the temp will not get low enough to cause the WVO to thicken......if so you can make a heat exchanger using engine coolant to heat the veggie up......crank on diesel.....switch to heated WVO (160 degrees is optimum) and run....switch back to diesel prior to shutting down...
I have owned a couple of those things....the four banger gas burner is a standard military engine....look for a number on it and cross reference it to small engine TM's.
Ice would be great and save us some cash....I think Mike has one or more of the big insulated ice boxes.....if not maybe someone near Joe has one.
Mike and I have also discussed finding block ice....last a long time and can be chipped for drinks and such.;)

I have a BD (Battery Dude) that gets big BLEMS and sell them to me for less than 50 bucks (without exchange) I think they are 850 CCA.....in Alabama winter they never fail to start a deuce.
Look for an independent battery distributor in your area.

I had a call today from a guy that wants a deuce steering axle.
He only wants a U-Joint type axle.
How do you tell them apart....what is the other kind???
Man......I should have brought the slave cables and at least tried to turn her over.
My wrecker did the same thing....hot batteries and when I hit the switch...THUNK...tried to pull start...no soap....had to do an engine transplant.
Maybe you will get lucky.....mine had sat up a lot longer...
