Discovered the book on Load Testing for the M62, M543, M816, M819, and M246
Three pages of how to measure, what weight to use and how to stencil last date tested.
Somehow I was expecting a little more. Although it seems that what needs to be done is there.
.
Nice!!
I did a little digging and it turns out that the M62 had an Austin Western boom on it.
While rummaging, I also discovered a short training film for it.
Army Training Film: TF9-2218
Found the link that seems to have gone away. Just got a couple dozen from him several months ago.

Nice! I have an old twisted wire barrel 10 gauge and that thing gives you a pretty severe thump when I shoot it. Things like that crate and the story about the .50 helps tie us into family and days gone by...
I have a crate and its contents but it isn't quite as neat looking as yours...
.
That Marstan matting is definitely useful stuff! There are two pieces mounted to the front of the every Ferret. Guess the idea is that with the pick and shovel and some matting - getting stuck can be overcome. Especially since they travel in packs. :)
That wooden crate is sweet looking too!
.
That's a heck of neat idea!
The pair of crow bars with the hook is just perfect fit for a temporary repair.
Having two spreads the weight and keeps it from rolling out of place supporting both sides of the spring.
Dang-it-all... Now I have one more thing to throw in the truck - just in case.
.
Hoping to hear that everything will be fixed up and made right soon. The machine shop guys being able to help source parts and hydraulic lines will make you life a lot easier! I can't wait to see a picture of the truck with the crane on it!!
BE SURE to check your height when it is...
.
Well, I guess I should go investigate what it would take to buy one. My fault light has been on since I got the truck. I have been steadily fixing other things and just haven't gotten to that point. That is on my M936. Brakes work well. I just presume the "idiot protection" isn't working...
.
That would be a heck of a toy to have!
The Mig21 Fishbed internal tanks are 658 gallons and another 470 in external tanks. Without the external tanks, about 600 nautical miles so fuel mileage is not quite as good as the HMMWV. ;-) At sea level, 800 miles an hour will make your excitement...

Yes Sir!
The best we can hope to do is spend our money with people who think like we do.
Thank you for bringing it up because I didn't know.
It just hit a nerve with me and that caused me to go dig a little.

Does anybody remember the first time or two when you were removing a manual gearbox in a small pickup truck?
Before you knew about tin foil and rubberbands (before zip ties were invented) to keep the gear oil in.
Back before I knew there was a tool to plug that leak.
Anyhow, before all...

First time I went to cage my rear axle on the M1088, I thought I had been gypped!
I wondered why there was a short bolt and a long bolt.
When I went around to the shock side, I was pretty happy to have that short bolt!
It is tight, but the factory bolt does fit behind the shock.

Hi Owen,
Good deal! That will be a nice upgrade.
A nice easy way to keep an eye on your brake fluid - without having to do more than glance at the reservoir.
.
In several cases my chains are connected to nothing. Eventually they will be.
The storage bin on the right of the truck has a few things I would like to keep, so I have a chain there and on the toolboxes on the wrecker bed are the same way. It just makes a way to keep stupid from happening...

Not certain about the accuracy on George Soros. Chairman of Progressive was Peter Lewis who is no better than Soros and for all I know he may be just as bad or worse. Several Lewis "projects" supposedly were conditioned on matching contributions from George Soros. One fact worthy of...

I like that Miller. Mine is a blue one about that same size and it has done many a job!
That truck will ride like a new one by the time you get the rest of the rubber biscuits replaced. :)
