    Side marker lights

Is the light a 12 volt light or a 24 volt light? Where did you buy it?

    Head lights not working

Yes. Very unlikely that the wire between the light switch and the dimmer is cut.

Hooking up my 803a step 1-help

City of Kenner: ELECTRICAL LICENSE: cost new $200.00, valid for 1 year, renewal cost $75.00 Delinquent fee $30.00 Revival fee $75.00(must have current Jefferson Parish License or State Electrical License). M246 Project resurrection

Looks OK. Make sure you tell anyone you have looking for your driveshafts that your truck is equipped with "mechanics" type u-joints. I see a siren under the hood, the Jeep guys go nuts for those. If the 6602 spins over it will run. That is a great engine.

    Head lights not working

The two wires from the headlight buckets go directly to the dimmer switch, then a single wire goes to the light switch (within a harness). See if you are getting voltage going into the dimmer switch.

    Head lights not working

The dimmer switch is not repairable. So to clarify, both high and low beam on both bulbs checks good when you checked them with a meter?

    ABS malfunction

Maybe oil got all over your ABS wheel sensor and is causing your issue.

Whining noise after replacing time delay module.

Sounds kinda like before your fan was on all the time, now it’s cycling, when the fan is off, the “Cadillac valve” makes that sound.

    Head lights not working

Hmm, are you aware the left lower lever on the 3 lever light switch has to be raised up to illuminate the panel lights? If it’s all the way down in “park” the headlights won’t come on.

GMV spare tire carrier (bed mounted)

I wanted an aluminum carrier, not sure why MSG made all this stuff out of steel. Here it is. Bill of materials: McMaster Carr 1630T47 ( 1 ea 1' long, 2 ea 3' long), 8975K142, 8975K597. The base is 26x11. The uprights are set in 2.5" on 11 degree angle. The cross piece is at 18.5" on...

    Are "HMMWVS hand made"

Oh hell no they are not hand made. AMG has a very sophisticated fixture they use to assemble, glue and rivet the body together. That fixture has been in use since the 80's. We will see it at this year's factory tour as part of the MVPA convention.

    M135 Shimmy trouble

Truck should go 58 mph against the governor smooth as silk. I still think you have a tire coming apart inside.

    Head lights not working

Thanks for the back story ender. Lots of times people say "how could BOTH headlights be burned out at the same time???" Well trust me the 30 year old bulbs seem to vent out and then they burn out immediately when you power them, I have seen it happen in front of my eyes more than once. Easy...

Help with M35A1 Frame and Engine ID #'s

I was looking up those numbers in the ORD-9 and nothing came up in the "Group 15 FRAME AND BRACKETS" section. Then it occurred to me. The 2A7556 is the Army registration number! The depot must have stamped it there prior to a repaint. This number system came into use in 1960, but for some...

    M246 Project resurrection

One thing on these to put in your memory bank, the hydraulics on the boom is stronger than the boom and shipper and both WILL BEND if you overload the crane.

    Thoughts on a 51 M38 price wise??

That is a M38 Jeep not a MB. Year sounds right. Needs total restoration. I see $2000 sitting there myself.

Help with M35A1 Frame and Engine ID #'s

Welcome. Help is here and also at the G503 website. The numbers stamped in the frame are Willys internal part numbers especially if the stampings are at an angle. MD 85*** is your VIN or vehicle serial number which should also be on your title and would be on main data plate on the dash...
