Really hard to figure out exactly the right words in the right way, but here is some of it:
There are excellent human beings in this hobby .
Sellers are generally in business to make a profit. Some sellers just want to recover their expenses. They will sell something, invest in another toy...
.
Really good that your acorn search turned out as well as it has.
Pretty Fantastic in my mind! Friends like Dave are hard to come by...
Who knows about the clutch lining coming loose. It could have been brand new when it was bought, then sat around in a garage for three years and moisture...
.
Agreed.
Always and Chains are worth inspecting as well!
Couple of miles could find a problem before it allows something to fall off on the highway.
Might be worthy of looking at the official instructions on how to load a truck and tie everything down.
I found it! Found the PDF of the...

Chase Vehicle...
On long slow hills - if the traffic is roaring up behind them (or heavy traffic) - turning on the flashers to warn of the slow traveling truck.
Heck of a good plan!
Glad you were able to plan ahead ahead to have a second vehicle to gather parts and run interference as...

Good deal! Maybe a little rust and sludge got picked up from the bottom of the tank.
I don't know if there is a wire screen inside the injector pump or not (like the Cummins has).
Hopefully somebody smarter than me can answer that question.
.
Just fishing for answers...
• Did the problem start after getting fuel?
• Any chance of changing the fuel filter (wix 33113 possibly)
• Brake Drums - Are they hot? Possibly shoes dragging. Maybe fluid not returning . Did it start after hard braking?
Parts List for filters etc are linked...

Congratulations! Can't wait for you to post us some pictures so we can admire it with you. :)
You might get more answers on the Transportation Forum on the site. MAKE SURE that you give complete details to your transporter. Does it run? Being driven onto a trailer costs you less than...

I got a suggestion for window track from simp5782 .
He suggested that using felt with the tracks you already have would solve the "wiggle in the windows" . I have planned to give that a try, but it has been too hot and muggy to have my arm crammed in that little access hole!
I also believe...

Nice! I need to go out and check and out my 5-Ton and see it your pictures match up to my weatherstripping.
Thanks for the tip and I will report back.

Nicely said Rutjes ...
You have some really incredible looking projects!
---
As strange as it is, I learned on a stick welder and "sound" is how I could tell if I was doing a good, deep, penetrating weld. The crackle sound getting louder told me I was getting too far away from the metal...
.
I have seen a few builds "on the tube" where there was a thick carpet (heavy weave) affixed to the door panels. That somewhat eliminates the "hose it out" function, but all that foam insulation has possibly already fixed that situation. I saw one with really thin sound deadening material on...
.
For sure! Thinking back, the more I road on the milk truck - I remember paying more attention and could recognize a faster than normal stop - where he would lean forward in the seat in preparation.
.
Neat!!
Guess after everything is working, a little squirt with some 383 will make it look "official"
You almost have enough room in that pocket with the outdoor unit to have a party!
.
That gauge cluster looks amazing after your cleanup!
Really sharp for sure.
The other work is neat too. Can't speak much to a soundbar, but a friend of mine has a box about 12 wide, maybe 10 tall and 2 inches thick. Bluetooth link and the sound quality is pretty amazing. Best part is the...
.
Thanks msgjd ! Very nicely worded and with a lot better detail offered up for consideration.
Your mention of a milk tanker is no joke for sure.
About a year ago, we had a similar discussion and I hunted down a picture showing the thermos of a milk tanker.
Milk Slosh is pretty...
.
I believe it has everything to do with the Quantity of Pieces Manufactured.
Ignoring the amount of metal used, a 10 Bolt Chevy ring and pinion set is a few hundred bucks for a "stock gear ratio". Get a 4:88 or 5:13 and that number goes up by a factor of 5 or more. Then there are a lot more...

I am with you. Smarter than average folks understand the cash price on things - but some don't. Yes sir, based on her attitude the credit card 3% fee (or more) would have been appropriate. Funny how that works. As I was reading, I understood what you were asking. Boss's wife was too busy...
