Looks nice Owen!
Bet Brutus was just as happy to hang out in the driveway :)
Don't forget to post a Front End of your boy for Front End Friday

Absolutely Right!
And on a 24v system with multiple batteries - trying to be cheap and buy those "parts house" cheap cables in the little package hangin on the pegboard hook won't work either.
Bigger is better when it comes to battery cables in my experience.

Thanks kendelrio
Strange how it works...
I hadn't given much thought to knowing that somebody might not know about "-10" and "-24" not being clearly communicated. Next time I rattle on like that, I will be sure to make the info a little more specific. Can't improve though if somebody...

I really like that truck!
It just looks "tough" standing there - waiting to see what's next. :)
Maybe one day I will step up from Rattle Can painting.
Doing it the way it is now, cleanup is a breeze though!

Hello 67Mustang !
Get yourself on over to the Technical Manual section when you start getting serious. There are "-10" books that are the "owners guide" (Operators Manual) there. They will help make you able to talk the talk when somebody has questions for you or if you want to ask here...

Hi and Welcome Maxjeep1 !
Definitely a nice looking rig there.
The 12 seat stack is pretty neat.
Be careful as you go along toward making electrical changes. Lots of folks try to install some sort of keyed ignition and end up paying for that decision with a fire or just plain dead parts...

Sad but true.
Except that you made it farther than me... No shop. Out in the yard or out on the asphalt for me. I recently added more parking lot to park the trucks on rather than out in the dirt and mud (when it rains).
Not really complaining though I guess. About 2 weeks in the...

I guess when hydraulic brakes were first invented steel lines hadn't been required (maybe not even invented yet). Pressure was a lot less - and copper was good enough to operate a still for shine so why not?
Before that, mechanical brakes had been king. If you wanted to stop faster, you...

Wow... He had a bunch when I got mine. Not sure where he found them or if he will find more. Seems that he has some inside track to somewhere. Hopefully... If I come across one, I will be sure to let you know.
Let me dig too. There is a guy on SS who's mom lives in Asheville. Just...
Not sure where the magic line is for uploads Guy. I used Acrobat to reduce the size to about half and it is still too large.
REALLY neat site @ RadioNerds.
I guess Steward & Stevenson got into the military supply business with power generation before they got into the truck market...
.
Wow dmetalmiki !
That is Neat. Heck of a tough jeep story to start with, but you came, you saw, and overcame!
Can't wait to see the FUG motoring around...
I can only assume that the weatherstripping in my 35 year old truck with a rag top has finally fallen apart.
I am looking for the weatherstrip that goes in the door tracks.
My windows rattle (sloppy in/out) when the doors are closed and the windows are all the way up.
It seems that the track...

I found mine on one of the facebook groups that I found. He had 6 of them back in March of this year. It was complete. It came with the rubber seals and bolts to attach the parts to the truck. He shipped it to me by freight truck from Modesto, Illinois (his son or daughter consolidates...

I understand completely. I keep telling myself that I need to take my glasses outside with me - but every time I do - I end up breaking one of the ears of popping out one of the pieces of glass.
Glad it worked out and I think your shield looks really nice. Especially installed :)
Well Brutacus , I don't have any cool lights yet, but today I finally got my hard top attached to the truck.
Now that I have that done, next up are the convoy lights and a set of Eyecon360 lights are coming soon to a shade tree near me...
----
I need to snap a few pictures of the "soft top"...
.
Looks nice Owen!
Scratch on the new paint - maybe that gives it "character" - even though I would have been saying a string of 4-letter words if it happened to me.
I can relate to lost parts. Out here in the yard the grass eats small parts. Not too good - but what is a body to do when...
