Walter can rest assured that if his bride attends the rally she will be treated with the same respect as we would treat our own wives, daughters and sisters.
The rally is a place that all family members can attend.
If she wants to come she will be welcome and well taken care of.

We have had this dicussion a few times.......I love the idea but (and there is always a but) it requires thought and adult supervision (both of which I am without most of the time) and prob a degree in "redneck engineering".
To make it an 8X8 you...
It depends on what your labor is worth......
Cost of the truck+cost of the winch (hope that includes the PTO, driveshaft and all linkage) plus the aggravation and frustration of working on a vehicle you are not familar with.
There are a lot of deuces W/W on the market now and prices are...
I had dual NDT 1100X20's on my bobbed deuce. Everybody that saw it said the tires made it look a lot meaner. I sold it before I could single it out with bigger tires.
My take is.....if you want a stock truck for show purposes the 900X20's are what should prevail.
If you want better fuel mileage...
The placement of the primary fuel filter nut directly under the alternator was designed by and idiot and approved by a moron. I have cut off a 1" box end wrench just for that goatF**K.
I agree about the airpack and master cylinder placement....another master piece of engineering.
I love my...
I have a deuce winch in the back yard that belongs to Capt.
He just "forgot" it the last time he was here.
It will need a hydrolic motor setup to be able to work since it was a PTO driven one.
I can ship it somewhere if need be.
I have 26"X 30" flat sheets of DOT approved laminated glass that I bought from GL.
I suspect that this glass was sent to Maint. shops and cut to fit various vehicles.
Prob. be a bear to ship but I will be bringing them to the GA MVPA rally this month and the SS GA rally (Clinto's rally) next...
When I was a young Soldier I was an avid dumpster diver.......I accumulated a lot of tools and stuff (some that I still have) that would have gone to the landfill if I hadn't liberated it.
I still can't pass one without giving it a quick once over to see if something in there needs rescuing...
I have sheets of 24"x30" laminated vehicle glass that can be cut to fit. It has the DOT approval stamp on it.
I got them from GL and it is my guess that this is the glass that was sent to maint. units where it was cut to fit various vehicles.
I'll take 15 bucks a sheet and I will be bringing...
Hummmmmmm.....I just bought a M915......I have a M816.......
Maybe a 400 Cummins and Allison 5 speed in the wrecker.
Would the 915 axles fit the wrecker....I'd lose the front wheel drive but it would be an awesome recovery vehicle. I would have all the plumbing for straight air brakes...
