    1600s are 53 inch tall not 48. I'd pull the spline caps off and go for a drive once you get it fixed. If the axle doesn't break, I'd look into whats wrong with the transfercase.

    Good to see you back again. I would think it should work ok. I still charge my batts one at a time at least once a year though. It helps keep them in top shape.

    Meh, the m37 wasn't too much bigger than modern pickups. No brakes on that version though(m101).

    That sounds like the shock was bad. I had one go bad and it would do the same thing just slowing down for a stop sign. I've towed these thousands of miles and had no problem when all the parts were in working order.

    The FDC only limits fuel, so yes, you turned it up.
