    Seat frame not fitting

The pass seat looks correct, you need the little cast hinge brackets. The drivers looks ok, cant really tell from the photo, the left front leg should rest in the door opening.

    Convoy Vehicles...

Tell us about the 915's. Lots of us are picking these up lately. Lonesome715 used to send us pics and ops reports of these in Iraq. We are getting the AM General ones, not the Freightliners. Everything we are hearing is that they are taking a beating and still doing the job, even being 28...

    What should a MEP-002a / MEP-003a be worth?

Anyone who scored one these units from Ft Polk will be very happy, they are all fresh "RESET" rebuilds from a Cummins authorized facility. Paint is very nice. Hours are run in since overhaul. All the tan ones were identical. Price ended up around 1100 for the 5kW's before fees.

    Pics from Training!!!

Sandcobra, I'm not trying to poo-poo what you guys are doing. I think most of us out here in civi land just don't understand what these trucks are subjected to, and why the gov't is always getting rid of 6.2's and 6.5's with low miles but totally shot.

Inside a 3 lever BO Switch...

The click is the bi-metallic thermal circuit breaker snapping open. Bypassing it as you say and installing a greater than 20 amp fuse sounds good.

    Pics from Training!!!

And we wonder how 6.2's can be shot at 30,000 miles . . .

    Please save me

Here is a pic of this old M37. She is a 1952, and had a hard life on the farm before spending lots of time under a tree. Neat features: radio connector in the bed, fording control, slave receptacle, early 3 lever light switch. I tried to convince sloryd to scrap it but he gave me the evil...

Best back hoe trailer for M817?

There is no military equivalent to a civilian pintle pull dovetail tagalong trailer.

    Towing M37 w/M35A2

I have done this many times. The M37's front wheels will not follow going around a corner. They will stay straight and scrub. Otherwise no big deal.

Best back hoe trailer for M817?

CommercialTruckTrader.com is the markeplace for those, new and used, also available in print at your local C-store. A 14 ton tagalong will run you about $10K new.

    Viet Nam CONEX boxes

Kyle, the earliest CONEX, which now I know thanks to this thread was in use before Viet Nam, is 8'6" long, 6'3" wide, and 6'10" high. Should be way under 13'8" bridge minimum in a deuce. As others have mentioned, there are several generations of more modern versions of these in use now. I...

Help to id truck in old pic.

Don't feel bad, one day soon you will be so good at this that all it will take is a glimpse of OD under a tarp as you drive by and you will be slamming on the brakes to see what it is . . .

Help to id truck in old pic.

It is a single wheel M135 but it looks like the bed and frame have been stretched??? Pass on it if that is the case.

    Humvee scrap

HMMWV bodies are rivited and glued. When you try to pull the panels apart after drilling the zillion rivits, you have to drive a chisel between the parts to separate them. This ruins the panels. There are a couple guys on ebay who have their hands in the proverbial mutilated scrap cookie...
