The USMC trucks all have factory fording kits and with that comes the air cleaner housing bottom drain delete cap. If for some reason the mushroom rain cap gets lost, the air cleaner fills with rain water and eventually runs into the engine.
While you install the new harness, run a new wire from the steering column area to all four lamp-units. Obtain a flasher handle, harness, and module from a later model truck. Match up the 461 etc numbers.
Welcome. I would say the 3/4 ton is twice as desirable and valuable as the 1/2 ton. The bodies look similar, but I cannot say if they are the same towards the rear.
Those came out of MRAPs. Uncle was big time liquidating all the Iraq leftovers about 5 years ago, that is when those were sold. Nowadays there are some on ebay, search mrap seat.
4 years on a lead acid 6TL is as good as it gets. Those things are awful. Get some Hawkers AGMs and put them on a defibrillator and you will have much better results.
