Which Schwitzer 4LHR would best match the NHC-250?

Aren't there also multiple flavors of HT3B with different sized wheels?

Which Schwitzer 4LHR would best match the NHC-250?

I want to add a pulse manifold and Schwitzer 4LHR to my stock engined M813 and I can't seem to find any technical info on the various 4LHR models such as 4LHR-733, -743, -773, etc. For you turbo guys out there which one would have the best wheel sizes to accentuate a 290-325 HP level without...

Jake brake 25A vs. 25B & their use with a pulse manifold

Will, thanks for chiming in with those corrections and other definitions- much appreciated. Looks like they want about $100 apiece for those Auto-Lash adjusters and at 6 per engine that's a premium upcharge just to run a divided entry turbo. Oh well - this is funner than collecting stamps 😁

Jake brake 25A vs. 25B & their use with a pulse manifold

I think I found the Jacobs document mentioning the replacement of adjusting screws with Auto-Lash adjusters on page 3 (listed under Small Cam III) of the install manual for type 401 jake heads. Do you think this change mentioned for a Small Cam 3 would work on our NHC-250?

    RECO Defense is closed indefinitely

This is sad news. Aside from their technical repair skills, their refurbishment/ restoration talents were top notch! I bought a full VIC-1 system from Gary and it is beautiful and flawless. The paint, the lettering, the details were all perfect.

Engine failure, rebuild, with turbo, jakes.

Where do the shavings go when drilling for oil squirters? Into a main oil gallery? Can you flush the shavings out or is the oil filter the next stop for them?

Steel Soldiers MV of the month January 2021 VOTE HERE

Not that it adds anything to my entry, but fun fact; on this day 3 years ago I bought my M813A1, had it hauled over the mountains and fulfilled a long-time dream of owning my own 5-ton :) Loading the truck Delivery

    Gulfway Ins. Limitation WOES!!!

I also got switched over to Hagerty from Gulfway and the crossover papers listed my truck as being stored indoors so I called them to update some info and tell them I had no enclosure. They said that was fine it would just raise my rate from $274 to $340 per year for my level of coverage here...

Member @quarkz (I believe) has a solid green M813A1 with a yellow nose and it looks good!

    Engine Cooling Fan, M818

Fun numbers just FYI: Modern fans like a 2008 Freightliner Cascadia with DD15 take 45 horsepower to operate (dyno tested).

Which tractors were used by the Air Force to pull nuclear missiles?

They didn't post any other photos. Maybe this is the last shot the camera got... A mid-explosion fireball pic would have been epic!

Which tractors were used by the Air Force to pull nuclear missiles?

I didn't find a picture of a tractor moving a Tomahawk, but I did find a perfectly timed still shot of a tractor about to be moved BY a Tomahawk...

Which tractors were used by the Air Force to pull nuclear missiles?

I read on another forum where a guy mentioned that Oshkosh made an ICBM hauler that was an M911 chassis but with a different custom-made body on it. The pictures were no longer available, thanks to photobucket, but that could be the rig your buddy remembers.

Which tractors were used by the Air Force to pull nuclear missiles?

The Oshkosh M911 has a pretty long nose and triple axles, but no idea if they used it as a missile transport.
