VIC-3 whistling noise with Engine rpm

That would help a lot since, after looking back, my 1780 has rubber spacers between it and its panel...

VIC-3 whistling noise with Engine rpm

When you say "main control box" are you talking about the truck's PCB or the AM-1780?

    LED bulb sizes?

I used M38(A1?) taillight covers and dual element bulbs on my intercom console in the back of the cab that gives me 2 levels of brightness to shine red light onto the dash & floor.

3 Jake heads under a stock M809 hood!!!

The Canadian M809s had a "hood scoop" to clear their jake heads which is probably similar to the little box you're talking about:

    Another New WA Member

There are a few hard core collectors around Twisp and I don't think they're on this forum. The guy I know has had the following: M151, M35A3, V-100, M548, M818, M1123?, and a helicopter. I'm sure he's owned many more than those during his time.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

That's a decent deal. Hope I can find something similar when the time comes here in the PNW

Which Schwitzer 4LHR would best match the NHC-250?

Wes, do you (or any other members here) have any experience with the BHT3B turbos? It looks like they're the same as an HT3B but with the map width enhancement groove. Do they have any other advantages?

    That's a great comparison pic - thanks!

Which Schwitzer 4LHR would best match the NHC-250?

It looks like Borg Warner lists about 20 flavors of HT3B probably with different wheel sizes / cartridges. I came across a listing for a BHT3B that they say is ported for pressure spike reduction that plays nice with non auto-lash jakes. I think I'll look into this one a bit more.

    OH No Luck in Ohio

My Hagerty policy says it can be used for pleasure driving in addition to club events & parades, etc. for 2500 miles per year but they don't ask for odometer readings.

    OH No Luck in Ohio

Hagerty is insuring my truck that's stored outside in Washington state. They just charge me $60 more per year. I wonder if it's related to concessions they made to Gulfway as part of taking over their coverage because Hagerty also did not require that my daily driver vehicle be less than 10...

    1962 IH 5 Ton M139

Some collectors here in Washington got some and then sold them after realizing they would need overwidth permits to drive them, but I remember someone on this forum that said in Florida you don't need the permits if the truck is for personal use (non-commercial). Bridge trucks look like they...
