Has anyone found a definitive answer to this? On one hand, not wanting to blow the rings is a good reason not to do it but in Sean's video he seems fairly confident that since these are installed in A1 trucks it's a non-issue.

I'm not currently having issues, but removing the front gladhands and possible leak points sounds great! Does the below annotations of the schematic referenced match your guidance? I want to make sure I'm understanding correctly. It appears as though the two-way check valves can be removed as well?

It appears as though there's no cracks or blown lines, just the compressor mount bolts loosened while driving, allowing oil to flow out fast enough to be scary looking, but probably lost less than a gallon. Percentage wise, that's not so bad! I'm definitely feeling lucky I found it...
I see one bolt miraculously is entirely backed out on the timing case. Hard to see in the photo. It seems like there's too much oil for it to all be from that one... But tightening that, adding oil, and looking underneath is a good plan

It sure did! It was a bit of an adventure with the shipping logistics, and the semi broke down part way but it finally made it on Mar 17. So that was about 4 months from when I bought it.
