Dunno about power or speed, it IS a M35 after all.
For casual and daily, I put a LOT of focus on brakes, fuel, and low-maintenance changes first:
Wheel cylinders, running vents to air box ( eliminating highway draft tube ), cleaning / maintaining fuel system and injector pump.
Made the truck...
Welcome from Oregon sir.
As for the seats, if you are open to the thought of NON- original equipment, I've seen people use aftermarket ( base model ) seats for the 1984-2000 Jeep Cherokee. Slim profile, more comfortable than the HMMWV. Big drawback, The ride height is not adjustable. Once set...
Since Vermont is no longer an option, perhaps title the vehicle in NH, then transfer to your state.
The the VIN / serial # is an issue in itself, you can apply for a VIN in and title in NH, then transfer to your state.
Cheers
Appreciate the follow up. I learn a LOT more from members giving follow up and reflection. Especially when something goes wrong ( faulty part, improper installation ) or a new observation is made ( in this case ).
It is valued.
Not for nothing, parts and components coming out of Korea 'tend' to be pretty decent. Their manufacturing and production predominantly has been set up and established by the US and Germany.
Their electronics for solar and alternative energy ( variable DC motors, programmable current generators...
Welcome to the Forum DarylB.

The center icon, Thumbs up, is the total number of 'reactions' ( people hitting the LIKE ) your posts have received. If you post something particularly helpful, meaningful, or entertaining; more...
Petroleum ( fuel and oil ) floats. Opening the knurled connected drains the water. Just drain until definitive fuel runs out.
If it is not hand tight, be cautious using a tool. Plastic parts deform and crush easily. Especially when aged and exposed to petroleum products.
Want the switch for a secondary to the ignition ( theft deterrent ) or for a quick disconnect for maintenance? On my Deuce I have a 12v normal open solenoid. key to close the circuit. Now the vehicle has 24V power.
For high way speeds and responsiveness, the geared hubs always seem ( to me ) to be a limiting factor.
It is outstanding to have more options to (reliably) update or adapt this vehicle.
I've been viewing the site, thank you again for the post ( and follow up )
I'm a big fan of this principle. Replace / Add what you want and need.
Dakota Digital is pretty easy to work with and adapt the parts for 12 / 24 systems. Some allow calibration and adjustment ( SPEEDO )
I am NOT a specialist or expert. Just my experience...
If you have 1, it is ZERO.
2 is a spare.
Spare vehicles cost the same as a few parts. DO IT FUZZY! You're going in a good direction.
I will forever regret selling my spare "parts" Deuces.
I've used standard green is most applications UNLESS specific needs dictate otherwise: sensative components, special seals, specific temperature, ect.
IMHO it is the use of tap water, having chemicals and minerals, that is the biggest contributor to problems. USE DISTILLED
Here is a COPPER /...
The "Mother in Law".........Dark as the look she sends me when I make a joke at family dinner.
As for the coverage....That 9 x 9 would be eaten up quickly. especially with that majority of military vehicles be very angular. Have to take out a mortgage to paint a Deuce.
Use a multi-meter to check power output of the alternator. Check the power INPUT and OUTPUT at the module and the lights. This tells you where a short or other problem may be. Erratic or inconsistent alternator output can affect smaller components, but still function in the vehicle...
