I did my M1008 AFTER it tried to burn itself down...luckily I was about 50 ft away from the truck, and saved it from a being total loss. I also did a customer's M1009. No probems with either after the conversion.

Great story! I've heard many stories from vet's on how they drove, worked on, rode in...a particular vehicle. It's great to see their faces light up, and the years dissapear when they climb into, the cab of the truck they drove many years ago! I got such great stories to re-tell...some...
Your glow plug relay is missing! ECC 25-1526 is the Standard part #. The large red wire from the firewall resistor goes on the top post of the relay. The small blue wire goes on the top small post, the red with black stripe wire goes on the lower small post, and the twin large orange wires from...
Any updates on attempts to repair these cards? My one CUCV is eating GP cards like they were potato chips!
I have 2 or more bad cards to donate to the experiment as well.
Thanks,
Rick
Once I get a new digital camera, I'll post the latest Pics of my M1007. I've got so much 'gear' in her, that I can hardly carry any cargo.
Thanks for all the compliments guys!

I have my brother here turning wrenches now, we have a steady flow of work, mainly Jeeps, for the time being. I hope to have more time to...
Hey Guys.....I haven't been on the list lately....very busy at work and home....I hope to attend this year, and will probably bring the 5 ton again, unless it sells at Gilbert!
Thanks for the work and planning for this great event!
On the CUCV trucks & Blazers, I buy the standard metal license plate mount with light, and mount it to one of the rear bumper supports on the left side. I use self tapping screws to make it a quick and easy job. I've also used a cabinet hinge(which only allows 90 degrees of travel) on the same...
I was at Mechanicsburg last Wednsday for a pick up, and the guy there said that site was going to be closed. He wasn't in a good mood because I was late, so I didn't press him for more info. What site will take over, Cumberland, Annville, or Maybe Ft. Meade in MD? Rick
Hey Dabba, I have a few CUCV's on my website(link in signature)....the prices listed are negotiable. I can get to Queens in 2 1/5 hours from here. Thanks, Rick
