    M1102 axle width

Does anyone know the axle width of an M1102? I need to put two on my flatbed but I only have 82" between the fenders. I know the overall width of the trailer is 86" so I was thinking about pulling the wheels but I don't know if I will gain enough clearance. Thanks!

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

Well, I'm back. Got all 4. 3 in the 24' Box and one behind my Suburban. If you try to put all 3 in rear first they won't fit. I put the 1st one in rear first and the other two in front first and nested them the best I could. Had 4' or 5' to spare in the box. The 101a3's have about 1/4"...

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

I'm going to look in to getting a trailer to tow behind the 24' truck but I'm hoping the 24' truck has an actual receiver than I can put two or three in the truck and pull 1 or a stack behind it....

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

How much of the trailer did the 1st 4 take up? It seems like my suburban is running better. Since I have to drive to MD to pick up the box truck anyway I'll drive my suburban and if I have to I'll hook one of the 4 to that and pray it runs all the way back... I'm going to try and check out...

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

I don't have any buddies :( I reserved a 24' (inside) truck from Budget for $189 for two days with unlimited miles. It says it has a hitch but it's probably just a ball. I was thinking of getting as many inside as I can and then either towing 1 or a stack (if I can mount my pintle hook) or...

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

I'm looking at a ryder truck that has full tie downs inside and a lift gate :) I'm still trying to figure out if I can squeeze all 4 in a 24' space without crazy nesting as it will probably hard inside the truck.

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

That's true about securing them. I don't know if there is any etrack or similar in the uhaul or penske trucks. Do you know of any place that rents stake or flat bed trucks?

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

How long ago did he tell you that? I just talked to him about 2 weeks ago and he told me as long as I had the chains and did all the work his forklift driver could flip and stack...

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

The inside dimensions are: 26'5" x 7'8" x 8'3" I think they should fit... I have 13" heavy duty ramps so I don't see why I can't load them in with two guys rear first.. I can move my M101A2 around by myself on the flat and lift the lunette up to shoulder height or so. I've seen people nest...

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

I need to recover 4 M101A3s from Ft Meade this week and my tow vehicle has been acting up. It's about 225 miles each way from my house and I'm not sure I trust it to get me there and back. I was thinking about renting a 26' box truck and nesting them inside. Is this a crazy idea? It's going...

    M101A2s recovered from OKC.

Any idea how long the group of 4 are? Would it be better for me to do two stacks of two?

    M101A2s recovered from OKC.

How did the 2 fit on the trailer? Any pics? I have to pick up 4 M101A3s and was trying to decide if I should try to stack them all on my 16' trailer or make two trips with a stack of 2 at a time. Congrats on the recovery ... Too bad about the tire. I'm hoping to put new tires on my...
