Towing the Tank Truck - Pics

I do not think there is anything wrong it. They were trying to start it with small 6 volt batteries. 2 year ago it was driven from fort Polk to were it sat. This bar uses a 1 1/8" pin.

True. I was paying more attention to picking up my little girl and not what I typed. Also, my fingers are too big for that little keyboard. I can barely see it. I really hate technology like this. It is my ball and chain.

"?" Behind a sentence works wonders:D I would hope , and think that anyone attempting to flat tow a Deuce would have some common sense and know that pin halfway out or one that does fit right is not good to use. The red and black one was used even though too long. Luckily it did not cause...

I usually say, know the whole story. it had already been dropped. I threw it back up to take and pic. I am sure you are commenting on the pins? And if you had looked closer you would have seen that the first pics is the scary one.

Whats a Blue Wrench, a welder:D Here are some pics of the Tow bar in question. Like I said, there is no way i see to retract anything. Also, the tube must be 1/2" or more to make this weigh as much as it does. I can barely lift the entire thing and I am no light weight...

Towing the Tank Truck - Pics

As for my plans, i never start anything with one.:D there is quite a bit of rust on it. I plan to see if it runs and how well. beyond that I have not decided anything yet. Here is a good Aggie Joke for you: A&M said they could not get it to start and that the 6 volt system was shot. They...

Towing the Tank Truck - Pics

All the way out? This is a fixed bar. No adjust-ability at all. So why did i tow with like that, cause that is where it is and there isn't anywhere else it can go:D It weighs about 150lbs. i believe it is a Hemmit. It towed great. Just put the Tcase in Neutral. Through my Blinking...

Towing a Deuce with a Deuce

I am not even going to worry about the lights. Besides this one has not batts in it. it does but they are dead. Since I will be only on the back roads, I plan to wear my OD green hat, my tan shirt, and throw and flashing yellow light on the rear of the truck :D in this area that will get me...

Towing a Deuce with a Deuce

Checked tonight and I have just a little over 9 miles to go down a back road. Only 3 turns all the way home.:) Gonna do it nice and slow. No hurry at all :) I think I will do the tcase in Neutral thing. Alot easier. We do it to Jeeps all the time. For 10 miles it should be fine. i will...

    Xtreme 4X4 Deuce bobbed(Spike TV)

What we do with them? I have been lurking around here for quite some time and I have seen a ton of different things done with these MV's. Personal, I am going to keep mine the way it is and enjoy it. And, if I had a 20-30k buck budget per vehicle as I imagine this shows show does, I would...
