I went with the 11rX20 tires. Get a nice smooth ride and it doesn’t put strain on the drive train ie. rubbing on anything.

Well there’s always this it blasts a lot of air to fill the tire Or one of these that fills the gap between the tire and the bead and just pushes off when the tire is fully inflated. ( my fave next to starting fluid 😉)

Well the good thing that most parades only run at @2mph. I chased that same gremlin and ended up replacing all the tires and getting rid of the runflats. If I need runflats I’ll just foam fill the wheels on my way outta town. 😉

If you can get it to run , drive , stop than your doing good. New top , doors,paint etc. just make it look even more bad a$$

Speculation only. Old guy buys hummer and passes out and crashes. It’s Florida ! That and 1000 other reasons he crashes. I doubt he was racing down one of the side streets , no skid marks or other seen factors all the wheels are intact , I would guess medical issue other than mechanical failure.

Doesn’t it have a separate transmission cooler ? are you loosing antifreeze ? Was water leaking from the lines while the transmission was out ? You could do a pressure test on the cooler , put about 80psi on it and see if it dropped after a while. I don’t see why you couldn’t add or replace the...

Check under the truck , there is a wire loom that goes to the transmission control box , it could have come loose and rubbed against the drive shaft destroying the harness.
