So....what do you guys exactly do with these trucks???

Its an all around ranch truck. Rides smoother on the rough mesa trails than a pickup and hauls waaaay more. I am currently feeding cattle on 25000 acres hauling 3500# of cake and 2800# hay. Then if it snows, hook up the snow plow , chain up six wheels and just go. I love it!!

Yeah, that's what I hear. Guess the whole midwest is affected. 2nd worst big drought in history behind 1956. That's the only thing that makes it a little bit easier to face is knowing I'm not the only one. Many people have sold plum out all ready, and others have cut their herds way back trying...

    ranch truck

Thanks . It depends on the type of hay (grass, alfalfa, canex feed, etc.) and how it was baled ( real dry conditions or some humidity) and even the baler, but my 4'x4' round bales weigh in the neighborhood of 800#. 4'x 5' around 1100-1200#. I had to buy some 5'x5' feed hay last year that...

Ok that makes since, yeh I don't know why people are intimidated by that extra axle. If they ever rode in one they wouldn't be, but I have to admit it messed with my mind a little bit too. Are you having many inquiries? How are people responding to the concept ?

M1075, Never thought in a million years I would be talking to the guy building the Range Master. I don't know why every rancher doesn't want one of these vehicles.:cookoo:They are awesome. May I ask why you dropped the back axle ? I feel like those walking axles make the ride on my rough trails...

Wow M813A1, Just when you think you've had an original idea. should have done some more research before I started those projects. Would have saved me a lot of work. I'm saving that sight for future reference. [thumbzup]

    ranch truck

I made the hay arms. The truck that is stuck was the prototype and the truck doing the winching was the more advanced better version. It took me the better part of two years to design and build the two trucks. Hydraulics are run off the pto and the controls are radio remote. Really got tired of...

    Major tire trouble

 I need your help! I and my son are now experts on fixing flats. Which we don't want to be and we literally smoked a brand new NDC yesterday down to the rim. I guess I forgot to put the jack back in the truck. My son was feeding cattle 15 miles away when he noticed the truck leaning a...
