I would like to do this set up, it looks real clean, but was curious about whether or not the temp reading would be correct. Is it important where the sender is in relation to water flow, before or after radiator?

Advanced Auto rents a puller set. Did mine with that, worked great.

How do you physically remove the clips. I've pushed the shaft in and can see and spin the c- clip but can't grab it to remove. Aarrgh, please help!

It's good to here all of this. My 1028 sometimes feels and sounds like I've hit something when the locker acts up. Thought something might be broken.

Wired1000, yes I did fix the noise, there was a missing mounting bolt on PS pump. But now a similar noise is back on the 1009, I need to check out someof these new suggestions. Also on my 1028 there was a buzz/rattle when I turned w/acceleration (sp?), turned out to be same PS pump bolt loose...

It is the oil from citrus fruit. The chemical name is d-limonene. It is definately flammable when atomized (hold lighter next to orange peel and squeeze). I didn't see a BTU value on the MSDS, I was comparing vapor pressure, flash point, etc.. Yes it would smell good and yes it would be...

I wondered if anyone knows if citrus oil/ d-limonene works as fuel in a 6.2. I may have a source for some. Can't seem to find much if any info. MSDS that I have compared show similar numbers to #2 diesel, but I don't really know what I'm looking at. Any help would be great.

Dave, Just curious, what you mean by make a mess of your cooling system. I put dexcool in with a new radiator and water pump. Maybe 1500 miles since I did the work. Hope I haven't screwed things up. '85 m1028
