    Columbus, Georgia Veterans Parade

Good to see ferro was able to post the video I took. I am an old fart, and had a hard time posting, so sent the link to him. I really enjoyed being there, and look forward to seeing all again, and hopefully being at next year's parade. I join the others in admiring Papa Bear and his efforts, as...

Becka tha Wrecka meets the torch

Good Base OK, now we'll keep an eye on the rebuild. Should be interesting, as long as you take your time and do it right from the bottom up.

    Extremely interesting new fuel source

Ferro showed me this last nite, and I just got the chance to respond. This guy is really onto something special. I had seen things about increasing surface area for plant growth and solar applications, and this is just too simple and effective to be ignored. To keep this knowledge from being...

Perfect Parade Day - Traffic Stop - Long

Here in SC we drive our deuce around all the time. It has plates, insurance, and all is legal. Even before that, though, we never had a problem as long as we weren't waving our guns around at the civvies. Then again, gun racks are common, as are truck raised high enough to need ladders to enter...

Question about picking up a deuce...

RE: truck Check with the GL rep at the base, as some will allow driving, and others won't. I know Ft.Jackson here in SC won't let you drive off since ferro drove his first into an office building :driver: From what I know, most will allow it. Either way, good luck with it (should you win!)

Way to go FT. I hadn't heard from you, and was thinking your EUC should be coming soon. Glad it all worked out for you, and know you will enjoy the toy! :P

    Disappointed with GL description

Trust the Air Farce (oops..Force  ) to keep copies of all maintenance reports on these vehicles. Anyway, I know the gents at Ft.Jackson, and if they say something is so, then it is so. They also seem to take pride in taking enough pics to make a decent rating on your own. Any...

    Injector Cap Woes

First, thanks for the offer jwaller, if cranetrucks works, that will be all I need. Cranetruck, the one with the tee is what we need, as it is off #1 cylinder and has to hook to the return line as well as the feed. Your photo has them looking exactly like ours, but all we need is the cap. We...

    S.S. Ga Ralley?

I agree with Garbee, as we would definitely love to make both this year. Choosing would be very difficult. :deadhorse: We are looking forward to seeing everybody again, and doing both (if possible) seems the best way to do that!!

    Injector Cap Woes

OK, we are in desperate need of an injector cap. AMGeneral sent us one to help out, but his had an interior diameter that was too big. The one we need will fit a Hercules, or a White multifuel. If anybody has any idea where we can get one, please let us know. I haven't been able to find any...

    Late night WVO nightmare!!

That powdered detergent trick sounds good. I have some old tranny fluid on my drive, and might try it. Only trouble is, we haven't had rain here for a WHILE til today. Don't think it'll work with already wet concrete aua .Maybe we'll get lucky and get rain again within the next few weeks. Also...

    Wreckerman got one!!!!!

Yea, the handle is missing. Looks like somebody 'borrowed' it sometime, as nothing is hanging down, and doesn't look stripped. Fuel, oil, water, rehook the batteries, and put the shafts back in and she should drive home!!Good luck with her, and LMK when to expect you in town!

    Door latch mechanism

Thanks for the tips. Shouldn't be hard, except that unlike groundog, I have large meathooks and arms. MAY give me some problems unless I can convince a skinny neighbor to help out for beer [thumbzup]
