We tried for a half hour to get the bobcat out using all the tricks. It's just too wet and I buried it and made slush in the mean time. It's pretty hard to do that with tracks but it's in a small creak with banks on both sides. I need a good tug.
I was cOnsidering finishing my glad hand air...
The Cat motor did not stumble, get pulled down, or stall out. I did feel less and less tug with every flip of the winch switch, and could audibly hear the air activated switch continue to loose pressure. The audible "psssst" became less and less till the winch wouldn't even pull up the slack.
An air toggle switch operates the winch. No air to the switch and the winch lays down.
Could I lock the winch, with that small switch next the cable reel, and use the truck cabled to the bobcat and back up? Or is yanking on a locked out winch like that a no no?
I was looking over the compressor hoping to find an easy fix like a loose or missing belt and found this missing filter. What is it?
I was trying to pull out my stuck tracked bobcat with the winch and slowly lost Winch power. I wouldn't pull in the slack after a minute or two. I notices i...
The Duece is a tight fit size wise, but it gets it. There's a very steep short hill going up to the house that only my 6x6 can make. I have a couple of Dodge deisels, one with 37" Toyos and they can't make it. It's a traction thing. The Bobcat with tracks makes it while the other wheeled skid...
I'm putting out the feelers and gauging interest. I'd like to throw a MV rally at my ranch in San Diego sometime in October. 1 day, low key, afternoon, meet and great thing that would NOT take up a whole weekend or a whole day for that matter. BBQ on me.
Reply if it's something you'd attend...
Any of you San Diego boys ready for a meet up at my ranch? We built a trail through the woods and to grandmas house with a bridge, a pond flyby and a good little climb. BBQ lunch on me.
I'd like to compare some of my A3 quarks with another A3 side by side to see if they're inherent issues...
What's the deal with the Brake pedal and the gas pedal being linked together at very low speeds? I hit the brake and the I can feel/hear a click that engages the gas pedal at the same time. Are the linkages contacting or conected to each other under the cab on purpose?
She's HOME! Changed the batteries, sipheoned out the old diesel, topped off the motor trans radiator and brake fluids and we crept off. Yep crept off...
It was an uneventful drive... almost. I thought I lost 4th gear, I couldn't get above 29mph. I resorted to driving it 21MPH for 2 hour on...
Can you do me a HUGE favor, please. Can you go back in there andtalk to the same person you delt with before, and have them sign a paper saying that the duece will not qualify as a vehicle that you can use to get your class B CDL.
You name nor your truck vin needs to be on the paper. This...
