I saw one local on craigs.... and it was listed at 6500 and didnt last the week so my 2 cents 4200 and running I would jump on it . Engine discussion again

Correct me if I am wrong but it has as few electronics as our 6.2 . and can be well upgraded to make up for the few extra pounds . but it is just my opinion and not my truck. I would really do it because of parts availibility and power . but not until my 6.2 dies and she is still young.

    Engine discussion again

I do my best to maintain my 6.2 so lord help me if it goes cause my wife will kill me . I would spen the big money and go with the 6bt and the nv4500 and then the bolt on horse power would go throught the roof. I love my 6.2 but when she goes I will go for broke. P.S. hope she stays for a...

Warm up time?...First start of morning...

So for the unanswered question is it ok to let your 6.2 or any other diesel idle for extended periods of time ... say 30 min to an hour? I kinda get to cheat on the cold idle as I live in Florida and it is 77 outside today.

Warm up time?...First start of morning...

As for my M1008 I just wait till the high idle shuts off and then take here nice and easy but i also have a 7 mile drive down a slow twisty dirt road that even if i wanted to top speed is about 20mph . So by the time i get to the Highway I am good to go. Also for the Idle time on a diesel my...
