1993 American General, 8362+ miles 1041+ hours many of which were idling. Cat 3116 diesel, Allison AT1545 auto transmission converted from motor oil to ATF, Hydraulic 10K Winch works and included is the mounting hardware if you want to covert back to bumper only. New steering wheel, New CTIS...
This is ten years after your original post. But I have a PE-214-B generator I'm trying to get running. I found a digital manual online but would like a hard copy. Did you get yours running?
M35A3, Then the low beam blew to while I started it in the shop. It's a Wagner. Wiring is good an tight and secure. There is some flex in the bucket. So I'm back to the drawing board. Anybody have luck with the LED's? Speaking of which, I put bayonet type LED in the shift tower and it works...
I started her up ( M35A3 ) and backed out of the shop to warm up. Noticed the left low beam headlight out. This about the fourth one I've gone thru in ten years. Is this a common problem? I'm thinking about LED's but they sure are spendy.
My fuel gauge was bouncing all over the place when I get 1/2 tank or less. I pulled the sender and ohm'd it per the manual and found it out of spec so a new one is one the way. Hope that solves the problem.
Has anybody used the CX13313 interface cable on a RT246 (J22) to AM1780 (J501)? I'm trying to filter out a high pitch engine whine on an M35A3. Or, do I need the MX7778B/GRC
Thanks

I added some storage space to the front bumper area. Bought a extra set of hydraulic tank brackets, ground off the offset spacer and flipped them around to the right side of the frame. Then added a couple of aftermarket spare fuel can carriers to hold fuel cans or large chocks for winching.
AS far as fuel goes, I use #1 or a 50/50 "winter blend" diesel in the gensets and all of the 5gal jeep cans. I treat all "stored" diesel with PRI-D accordingly. That way I'm good year round. They jack up the price of #1 come winter but you can offset the cost some by using dyed #1 which I use in...
I have a Kats magnetic oil pan heater already but I don't leave it plugged in all the time because how can you anticipate an outage. When the power goes out, there is nothing to plug it into, and that's when you'll need the genset. I have a swingfire heater which will overcome that obstacle if...
