    Polaris MRZR-D4

A DAGR Mount and a $7 Harbor Freight light mount makes an awesome cell phone holder while keeping the military look.

MV of the month July nomination (10 off needed)

Yes sir! This is one of the USMC Polaris MRZR's that have been getting auctioned off. This particular model has a Kohler turbo diesel engine in it, which gets about 65hp. Most all of the MRZR's coming up for auction have the diesel in them. The early ones had the 900cc gas engine in it. Overall...

Heck, count me in too. 2017 MRZR-D4

    Polaris MRZR-D4

Good to know. Mine occasionally stops at the full "on" position, but more often than not stops here.

    Polaris MRZR-D4

Dumb question guys but is there an appropriate procedure for turning "on" the battery disconnect? When I go to turn mine from the "off" position to the "on" position, it will sometimes stay engaged in the "on" position, but more often than not, it stops back at the tripped position. If I hold it...

    Polaris MRZR-D4 Parts List

I decided to put together a spreadsheet of the various parts that everyone has been chattering about in the "Polaris MRZR-D4" thread, so I could keep it all in one space versus searching through what at this point is a 14-page thread. I'll try to keep it updated as we get more contributions...

Good idea - I'll do exactly that.

    Polaris MRZR-D4

Steve, I see where you previously had mentioned that RZR900 brake pads are appropriate for the MRZR - do you have a gasser or diesel? I just want to make sure before ordering anything. I've created a spreadsheet of part numbers for the MRZR and where they're cross compatible with commercially...

    Polaris MRZR-D4

Well, I've got the axle out. The inner CV is actually fine - the outer CV definitely grenaded though. The axle shaft and boot are fine though. Like you said, the axles are available outside the US and they're not cheap. I'm off to the local power sports parts counter with the spindle, inner...

    Polaris MRZR-D4

Does anyone have a part number for the driver's side rear axle on the MRZR-D4? I'm hoping this is something that won't be difficult to replace.

    Polaris MRZR-D4

Finally got my hands on an MRZR-D4 and man is it fun. I had originally intended to strip it all down and restore it, but I think I'm going to leave it as-is. It looks like honest wear without signs of any real abuse. After checking fluid levels and the belt/clutch conditions, I took it and had...

    Polaris MRZR-D4

Where are you finding that 3211193 is compatible with the MRZR-D4? I was also under the impression that 3211225 was the appropriate belt. As far as aftermarket belts go, there are some good ones and others that aren't so good. The general rule of thumb seems to be to stick with OEM belts.

That part number on the Polaris website shows that it's for a Service Manuel for those models.

Anyone test their infrared blackout light under NVGs?

I've driven my truck under NOD's quite a bit. The blackout light provides just enough light to drive without NOD's and I've found that it's easier to drive with the blackout light off as it creates too many shadows. The best thing for driving under Night Vision are actual IR lights. You can...

    Blackout Light Wiring

I've not seen one listed in the -20P, but there is definitely one there.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

@TenTires I've made them before, but this time I took the easy route and bought one from Blackdog Customs.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I changed the glow plugs and PCB this morning and installed a supplemental ground harness this afternoon. It's a little too chilly to be painting everything until spring, so I'm buttoning up the mechanical stuff now.

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

While you can sand it, you don't necessarily have to. It really just depends on the truck. I've done some where the paint was pristine, but faded and others where it's clear there wasn't much prep work before even the CARC was put down. The CARC is a great base layer to paint over. if it's...
