Ok. Lawdog is making a list of parts so heres a fact. My left rear outer joint in the axle broke a while back. I checked the specs and it looked like an outer joint for an xp1000 would work. So I found an entire cheap junk axle to purchase on ebay to test fit. It was cheaper to buy a cheap junk whole axle than a cheap outer joint, so I did. What do you know, the entire axle was a perfect fit. Seems these machines have a locked rear end and it ate that china trash's outer joint up in a few left turns on asphalt. So I found a deal on ebay for an open-box Rhino Axle and that one is still on and perfect, many months later. Hope this helps!

So, the outer CV joint works and can be retrofitted to the MRZR-D4 axle, or the whole axle worked?

Cobra Axles in Houston, TX made me an axle, for not nearly as much as one would think. It'll be delivered tomorrow, and I'll update everyone if their drop-in complete axle works. Hunter at Cobra is very familiar with the MRZR, so it should be good to go if it fits.

The whole axle works! Just remove the old and replace with the new.

I didn't take any pics, but Cobra Axles in Houston made me a spec rear axle for the MRZR-D4. The fit is exactly like the OEM axle and it's definitely beefy.

While the Rhino 2.0 may also fit and will save you a few bucks, it's nice to know that there are options out there in the event that we need spares.

Got the machine up on a rack this afternoon to change all the fluids and hit all of the lube points and found a couple of things I could use some input on. I also used it as an opportunity to isolate any rattling/knocking that I've been hearing. The rattling is from the pins in the tailgate/bed and the knocking I kept hearing was from the air intake area in the bed - turns out one of the screws on the top side was loose, so it would knock/rattle when you accellerated. Fortunately, tightening things back up fixed that.

- the forward zerk fitting on the drive shaft - what's the best way to get to it? Surely, I don't need to drop the skid pan to make that happen?

- I noticed that one of the boots on the steering rack is torn and the tech manual doesn't show it as a separate part. Any solutions to fix/address it?
