Missouri is good to go and friendly.
Must have a transferable title.
Won’t take a SF97 from GP since they basically have their name on it(Been awhile since I have seen a SF97 since I get title from them)
Sometimes you get a letter from the DMV saying it needs to go to highway patrol for vin...
My dad and I have driven home many military auction trucks over the past 15 years.
Your M1088 looks like one I would drive home after:
Inspection to make sure driveline not bent, parts missing, etc..
2 New front tires/wheels put on
4 new batteries
Check all fluids/top off
Test drive close to...
I believe it’s a premier arc welder. It runs off a separate 12V alternator that was only added to the M1097 3 speed humvees. It’s basically the welder people that people building offroad trail rigs would add to do trail fixes with. I’ll have to get some pictures of the alternator and the welder...
No Problem! We really like using our 2 secm boxes on the farm. The inverter is handy to run power tools and the air compressor is alright but just doesn’t have a tank for volume without adding one in. We lucked out that the 2nd box we got last year had half its tools in it along with the...
I only have a double sided print of the TM in a 3 ring binder that came in our 2nd secm box. Luckily the mice didnt get to it like they did inside some of the tool foam inserts. I also have the list of issue items and tools that come in the "M1097" box.
One diagram is for 1 phase and the other is for 3 phase boxes. The last diagram is if you have the mobile welder which is probably missing. That requires the additional alternator on the engine.
I have the manuals so should have the diagrams.
My dad hooked up the compressor up but I believe it runs off the inverter then the inverter is hooked the the batteries.
It will be a least Monday since I don’t have the TMs at home.
Wow! Almost 4 years since the last post on this thread.
Just put a rebuilt rear-rear differential in the M915a2 last weekend. Original one either was missing or broke the cheap cotter pins that hold the bearing retainers and moved the ring gear away from the pinion and ate the gears.

Unfortunately I don’t think Missouri is going to do anything unless the bill of sale is from a state that doesn’t have titles for some trailers or antiques. The Highway patrol Vin/Salvage location at least in KC (Troop A) will say you need a title from the previous owner or have the previous...
I’ll have to take some pictures since my dad put this together starting in 2009 and basically all finished in 2013.
Has a 7.3 Powestroke and drivetrain out a 99 F350 stuffed under the hood.
This is one of our humvees on a 2001 Dodge 2500 frame. Body does fit between the frame rails with some of the aluminum supports removed. Front steering box sticks out but we hid it with a winch bumper. Rear leaf springs fit thru rear seat box and stick past tub a little bit.
