The top is bedlined inside and out
I decided to do some painting in the truck on the spots the top will cover. I started by scuffing everything with a scotch brite Pad and wire brush.

Roof should get painted this week. It's going to be bedlined olive green inside and out. In the mean time I took a look at the rust issues on the cowl. I took a screw driver and a stiff wire brush to it. Talk about some thick layers or paint!

What amperage do you guys suggest? I plan on installing a panel box to run a/c along with the lights and outlets
Also. For the 24volt lights I had them working then I switched the blackout switch and now the two center lights will not come back on no matter what I do with the switches. Any ideas?
Update! The wire labeled 1 (field wire)on the alternator shorted and was causing the problem. Because I've had alternator problems for a while I decided to disconnect the wires and tape them up.
On my truck I have always turned the engine off by switching the accessories switch to off. I opened up and I'm pretty sure I have a bad switch and a short on a wire labeled 27 going to the accessories switch. Time to break out the wiring diagram
