I'm planning to do a 35w or 55w 5000k HID upgrade to my CUCV soon also. Looks like I will have to buy that LMC upgrade harness before I do my HID kit.

Good to know about this bio-diesel, I've been contemplating it myself but it looks like I will have to replace all my lines with Viton ones, which I have never heard of. Looks like I'm off to spend more money!

Thanks for this thread and the great pics, I just had my butt kicked for 6 hours installing my stereo in my CUCV and I'm not even doen with the wiring yet! Fuse box is the last part before I'm done.

HA, no worries! If my sleazy stereo shop ever holds onto my 6.5 speaker boxes from Tijuana, then I will finish stereo install with plenty of pictures!

Well, I'm gonna stick with my 6.5 stereo boxes for now. The **** stereo place told me they had them last week, but not really. Hopefully this weekend I'll have it all installed and ready to rock out and drown out my highway noise! hehe!

Thanks for the pics of your front speaker install Cajun. I'm still debating on cutting my doors but I think I will just use some custom 6.5 speaker boxes and mount them under the front seats for ease of installation and not having to dynamat my front doors.

Looks great and I'm about to embark on the same stereo install myself. Just a question, where did you mount your front speakers? Did you have a rear speakers installed besides the sub? I'm still the gathering phase of components and of course I will post pics once I am done!

Thanks for the suggestions and that is what I am doing now, just the maintenance aspect of the truck first. Now I'm searching here on how to convert the rear manual window to a power version, so far no luck on using the stock CUCV door. It looks like I might have to go junkyard hunting for...

Thanks for the info on the tint, I can't wait to work on my CUCV this weekend! I know this project will keep me going until I'm satisfied with it. First I have to decide on what I need to do first... maintenance items first then comfort items later on...
