So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Did you try adjusting the star screw at all? That should increase the fuel rate at no-boost so I would think that would help with throwing coal. Just a guess though.

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Installed a boost & EGT probe today and went ahead and adjusted the rear screw on my pump. Went from barely 22PSI at 2100 to about 31 at 2100. I still have the governor springs to do but just doing the rear was definitely worth it so far. I actually have to watch the speedo now to keep it...

PA - Spring 2014 Rausch Creek Steel Soldiers Rally

Wish I would of seen this thread back in March I definitely would have come. If there is a summer meet I'd be interested- I've wanted to go to RC for ages but can never find a second person with a working vehicle.

    m939 Heater Core

I got mine in on Tuesday and it works fine. I will have to redo my grounding when it isn't 10 degrees out but I'm happy to at least have heat. I think I might have to cover up a bit of the front of the hood though it takes absolutely forever for the engine to get to temp running it as-is. I...

    m939 Heater Core

It hasn't come in yet- they only have about 6 in stock in the nation and they were all on the west coast. They had 3 sitting in Phoenix so that is where mine is coming from. I'm about to give them a call today and see if it is in yet and I will let you know how it works out.

    m939 Heater Core

Printed off a couple of the diagrams from the TM today and got the power running again to my blower motor. Started to smoke as soon as I turned it on so I ended up pulling the motor out to find it was completely seized up. Walked over to Napa and ordered the replacement so once that comes...

M923A2 Slow air leak from far rear wheels

Took the tires up to McCarthy tire and they had them taken apart and repaired in about an hour for $50 bucks. I just need to get some -10 AN port plugs to seal off the holes in the hub from removing the CTIS regulators and I am good to go.

    m939 Heater Core

I just started digging into mine today....as far as I can tell it is getting coolant but my blower will not turn on. Anyone by chance have a diagram for the blower switch? I have an extra power plug hanging from my dash that I'm suspecting has something to do with the blower.

M923A2 Slow air leak from far rear wheels

I can't seem to find any shops willing to work on them for me. I've asked 4 or 5 different shops including the one that inspected it and they all refuse to touch them. I'm not really sure what the big deal is most newer semis use the same type of rim with super singles.

M923A2 Slow air leak from far rear wheels

Thanks for the info, sounds like I will finally get to test out my new impact gun this weekend.

Where did you guys get your replacement o-rings from?

M923A2 Slow air leak from far rear wheels

So it seems both wheels on the back rear axle have slow air leaks on my truck. I've traced it down to the same spot on both of the wheels. There is a hole in the rim where the auxiliary fill tube goes through to the backside of the wheel and the air is leaking out where the two parts of the...
