    The plan is to replace them with abrasion resistant ETFE.

    Replaced primary and secondary fuel filters with spin-ons. Bypassed the FDC. Now to turn down the fuel, install pyro, replace the old and brittle plastic fuel lines, and replace oil filters with spin-ons.

    Yep, that's pretty much the way I felt (feel) driving mine. Glad you made it back safely, albeit with a much smaller roll of duct tape.

    Installed A3 style instrument cluster with all new gauges in my 87 A2, 'cept speedo and tach, and replaced low air buzzer. PO had replaced '87 cluster with older model that did not have hole for hydraulic failure light--he simply left it hanging under the dash. Fixed.

    Ditto. Marine Corps orders, at least when Shep was a pup, were quite specific about where and how to mark vehicles (TM 4750-15/??). Hood markings were the protocol.

    When I was stationed in Alaska (MB Kodiak) we used to use the fat from ham and limas to cook our freshly caught salmon. Yum.

    Got her titled and tagged! Now all I have to do is fix rear wheel seals, steam clean engine, find out where its leaking oil, fix the leak, drain 'n clean the fuel tank, replace filter w/ spin-ons, and . . . .
