Thank you, I made it to Maine & back to West Virginia ok but I ended up using 7 qts to make sure the transmission got back in one piece. It is now at the shop that rebuilt it so I should find out soon! It didn't appear to be leaking from that o-ring however I will keep an eye on that.

Thank you all for your support! My M1009 got me from WV to MA & back no problem except a minor leak coming from the front driveshaft gasket inbetween the transfer case and transmission. I ended up driving back home and flew out of Pittsburgh to Logan for the funeral and cemetary.
