Looking in manual and I find 4 circuit breakers. Can't tell if they are auto rest and don't want to yank hard on wires if I don't have to. Changing light bulb in directional switch and touched a ground and had a big spark (24v). New bulb works fine but now heater fan not working. Could this be...
I have a 1984-M925 and need to use a wiring diagram to trace some wire locations. I have searched the TM's -272-23 & 24 but can not see any reference to one. Thanks for your help.
I am installing all new weather strips on my M35A2. Per the manual I first install the new door weather strip and then push the window assembly past it and into the door. Problem is the force needed to push the window in also rips out the weather strip. Any ideas to save the weather strip? It...
I am going to replace the left front rear wheel cylinder on my M35A2. I will first bleed the air cylinder and then the new wheel cylinder. Do I have to bleed the other wheels too? If yes, then which wheel do I start on after the air cylinder?
I have an M35A2 with the standard steel 50 gallon fuel tank. Can an M35A3 aluminum tank be put in as a direct swap?
Are M35A3 fuel tanks 50 gallon? Any other issues that would not allow a swap?
I can find what it is in the TM but don't see a clear explanation of how and when to use it. On my M925 I haven't had any problems and it has always been in the pushed position, bur reading it again today it seems like it should be pulled as the knob says "Pull for Normal". A simple explanation...
Finally finished and all seems to work ok. I had to wait for a replacement water pump to finish, so with the pump off, I did the installation of the heater and with a mirror I was able to see the clearance once installed. It did touch as I was screwing it in and the 6:00 - 12:00 position works...
Replacing the water pump and putting on new hoses. The lower radiator hose that I took off was straight and the new one has a slight off set and a short and long leg. Which end goes on the engine? In the picture, the upper one or the lower one?
Thanks, the tm just shows a generic sketch.
Today I installed a block heater on my M925. Got it from my local Cummins dealer, a Fleetgard #3832163, for $56 plus tax.
To install I drained the radiator and then unbolted the plate on the right side of the engine, inserted the heater and bolted it back to engine.
Ready for winter!
Small drops blowing from bottom of water pump when engine is running. Lowest water pump bolt is wet with anti freeze and I have tightened it but it still blows small drops. Do you think it is a bad gasket or is the pump leaking? What happens when a pump goes bad, a shaft seal leaks, a bearing...
I just finished installing the Spin-on Kit from Scar59 and I highly recommend that others do this. It was easy and makes future oil changes a lot cleaner. Thanks Scar59
Now need a good price to convert my Deuce.
I have an M925 and one of the four batteries drops below 12 volt over about a months time. I charge it up and it's ok, then slowly goes down. Is this a sign of a bad battery or do I have a drain from something? If it is a drain how do you I track it down? Everything is off while it is parked...
Buying a passenger side front fender(M35A2) from Eastern Surplus in Philadelphia, PA 19135 and need transported to Casco, MI 48064. Nearby would be good too.
I have an M925 and the manual says to use a chain fall to lower and raise spare tire. I was wondering what other 5 ton owners were using. I see that Harbor Freight has a small one for $40.
