    Carburettor flooding. Help !!!

Hi all. I have a really strange problem that I have not encountered before in nearly 40 years of working on motor vehicles. A month or so ago while driving her she coughed, spluttered and died at a road crossing. Fuel was spewing out of the top of the carburettor and the inlet manifold was awash...

    M880 running problems

Hi all. My M882 ran beautifully until about a month ago. The temperature is abnormally high in the UK at the moment but not by US climate levels. She is BAD starting and cutting out at road junctions. I am suspecting vapour lock in the carburettor and considering fitting an electric pump. lI...

Hi all. I know this has been covered before but does anyone know where I can obtain the fasteners that hold the canopy to the bedsides. Mine are all unservicable and the canopy flaps when at speed. Where do you get them ?

    Armstrong Begone.....

Hi Bdaman. The steering is fine and light. The gearing is the same as the original unassisted box so I am looking for a period mopar steering wheel of 14 to 15 inches in diameter to 'quicken' it up a little. No complaints with lock but I am a little concerned with the angle of the steering...

    Armstrong Begone.....

The box and pump came from a W300 airbase fire tender, 1977 vintage. It only had about 6000 miles on it. It had a big block engine in it so I had to make a bracket myself. It picks up two of the front timing case bolts both of which are into the water jacket and one on the cylinder head. It...

    15" wheels on M880 ?

Well I plumped for the Ford wheels. They are all 16" in diameter. That is where the good news ends though. There are 4 wheel rims. One is 7" wide, one is 6" wide with a 1/2" offset and there are a pair of 6" rims with zero offset. Pretty stuffed now !!!
