That's great to hear Gary, thank you. Was wondering for those that did have failures doing the Dex III, when the issues showed up. Was it immediate or did it take some miles?

    Allison AT1545 failures

I made the change from 15W40 to NAPA part #75203 Dex III today. Since I am home from work, trying to keep myself busy. Took (2) 5 gallon buckets to complete doing the drain-refill-drive a little-shift thru the gears, 4 times total. I had changed the 15W40 and internal filter a couple years...

    Allison AT1545 failures

For those of you that are performing the switch from 15W-40 to ATF, please keep us posted on your results. I have a perfectly functioning 1545 right now with 15W-40 and plan on making the switch this summer to Dex III using the drain, refill, run, drain, refill, run method. I too had...

Need to get installed center to center measurement M35a3 Jackshaft

Its quite a bear measuring up there, so just to double check I googled M35A3 jackshaft. This came up on one of the parts folks websites. Looks like the first center lines up on 1 1/2", the second on 8", so I feel good about the 6 1/2" measurement.

Thank you for the measurements. Just to be clear, the slotted input hub is 2" OD correct? The pilot OD which is the capped outer part of the converter is 1.7"?

I do not have mine out yet, probably wont be for a couple more months because I've been called up for work out of state. I have a quote request for New England Detroit Diesel Allison, but have no reply from them. I filled out a few quote requests from all over the country, the only folks who...
